Jodie DragoHello, and welcome to our website. My name is Jodie and this is my salon. With 20 years experience in the Hair & Makeup industry, I am sure we can cater for all of your needs. Within this web site you can learn more about us here at JC's Hair & Beauty Shack. You can take a tour of the salon and meet the staff, or check through the list of services we provide to help find what you are looking for. I have worked in the Hair & Beauty Industry for 20 years now and as I believe it is very important to keep up to date with what is the trend. Myself and my staff continue to educate ourselves to provide the latest looks for you. I have worked in the salon my whole career as well as studied at nights to specialise in formal up dos and styling. I have studied makeup both in Melbourne and again in Hollywood where I attending Cinema Makeup Academy. Since then I have freelanced doing photoshoots and weddings as well as fashion shows and editorials for magazines and newspapers. I am trainer and educator for Bodyoraphy Australia. As one of their head makeup artists, I have had the pleasure of working on such people as Rachael Finch, Hugh Sheridan, Ashleigh from the pussycat dolls and worked on many events around Australia. The most important thing about all of this is that I Love what I do and everything I do is with passion and an infectious smile. Erena BenjaminI have been in the industry for 6 years now and 4 of those years I have spent working here at JC's Hair & Beauty Shack. Hair Dressing is my passion and I express that through my work specializing in Colours, Cutting and Styling. In my time here at JC's i have been actively involved in bridal parties and special occassion work as well as participate at Photoshoots alongside Jodie. I love a challange and look forward to meeting new clients and enjoy my time working on my regular clientelle.
Rachel VellaI started my hairdressing career while still in high school through the VCAL program which involved being a part of a school based apprenticeship. After completing high school, I continued my apprenticeship full time here at JC'sDuring this time i was nominated for a number of hairdressing awards winning apprentice of the year and 1st place school based apprentice. I have since qualified but continue looking for new ways to update and increase my skills.I love hairdressing and the smile I recieve from a client as their walking out the door with their new look. I have been fortunate enough to work alongside Jodie and Erena and learning from them both. I have assisted on Photoshoots and events with Jodie and with Bridal Services. I am currently studying in Massage therapy so to add to the services we can offer to you at JC's Hair & Beauty Shack.

Your wedding day is the one day in your life where the entire world revolves around you. What better way to start that day then with us here at JC's Hair & Beauty Shack pampering you like a Hollywood Movie Star. Specialists in bridal work, debutantes and special occasions, Jodie and the staff from JC's will create the ideal look for you and your bridal party. Jodie is also the salon make up artist, and has worked on photographic shoots and fashion shows in Los Angeles. From fairytail weddings to beach weddings, whether you want to be beautifully natural or lets go glamour!!! We will consult and design the look that best suits you. We are happy to look after you in the salon, but can also see you in the comfort of your own home. Jodie is highly skilled in the use of hairpieces in work where longer hair or more hair is needed. Hairpieces are available to hire for the day or to purchase. A trial before hand will ensure that the big day runs smoothly. Hair and Makeup packages are available. We also do spray tanning packages for bridal parties and debutante groups who want that natural skin glow for their special occasion. Here at JC's we offer our clients the best professional service care to ensure that when you leave our salon you not only look your best but are able to maintain that look between visits. We educate you in how to look after your hair in a way that is quick and easy for the busy people that we all are. Who has time to spend hours in the bathroom!!! We are a unisex salon therefore offering all our services to both men and women as well as children. Any major services such as waxing, earpeircing and colouring will require parental permission for those under the age of 16yrs. More information is available on our Weddings page. At the end of your service, you will be advised on the products we used on your hair to achieve the finished result. This will help you when styling your hair at home. All products that we recommend are for retail in our salon. For our colour services we use Lendan colour Technology. Lendan was founded in 1961 and has its own Research, Development and Manufacturing Plant based in Barcelona. It is distributed in over 45 countries though the professional Hair & Beauty Industry. It is a plant based and low amonia colour which leaves your hair feeling soft and with incredible shine.Our Haircare and Styling Products range include Lendan products to compliment our colour range as well as the ever popular MUK Hair Care and Styling Range. We will analyse your hair and recommend products best suited to your hair type as well as accommodate your styling needs. We have recently taken on board the original Morocan Oil which is an incredible intense treatment for the hair that provides shine and strength to the hair along with a weightless feeling of silk.For Makeup we use and recommend Bodyography. As mentioned in my profile, I am trainer and educator for Bodyogrphy Australia and as i say in my classes, I dont love the product because I work for the company, I work for the company because I love the product. Bodyography uses modern technology along with natural ingredients and antioxidants to produce a makeup range that not only makes you look great but helps to repair and take care of your skin. It weightless but provides great coverage.
